Cool off with a Frozen Triple Citrus Margarita that has a lovely spicy kick and highlight’s summer’s citrus fruits of lemon, lime and orange.
We’re missing cruise life just looking at these photos of our fave Frozen Triple Citrus Margaritarecipe from our recent British Isles cruise in partnership with Princess Cruises.
This past September marked ourfourth cruise with them. And it never fails that we eat and drink all the things!
If you’ve never been, they offer all kinds of super fun co*cktails and genres depending on which restaurant or bar you’re visiting on the ship.
Our absolute favorite place to sit and have a co*cktail is in the evening at theback bar on Deck 16 on the Royal Princess.
Almost all of their ships have a great bar there to be able to enjoy the view while you sail off from each port. And it truly is our spirit place!
Now you may be asking yourself WHY in the world would we be having a frozen co*cktail on a cool British Isles cruise. And that’s partly because we’re insane. And partly because we pride myself on trying something new each trip.
This margarita is legit so smooth. So making it frozen is a surefire way to help you drink it more slowly!

1 — Pour all liquid ingredients over ice in a blender and blend until you have a smooth consistency.
You can always add or take away the amount of ice you use depending on how thick you prefer your margaritas to be.
2 — Once well combined, pour into a margarita glass and serve with a lime and orange wheel for garnishing and/or stir in a few fresh jalapeño slices for an added kick.
What to Serve with Margaritas
There are a few things that pair well with citrus margaritas.
— Chips and salsa or guacamole
— Pair them with Mexican food, such as tacos or enchiladas or a hearty bowl of tortilla soup
— If you want to keep it simple, you can also just serve them with lime wedges.
Can I Make a Margarita Without Lime Juice?
You can make a citrus margarita without lime juice, but it won’t be the same. The citrus will provide some tartness, but the drink will be missing that signature tang that comes from the lime.
If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic alternative, you can try substituting lemon or orange juice.
